At Landlord Counsel LLC, we take pride in providing cost-effective service to our clients. We keep a constant eye toward the client's costs, not a lawyer's billable hours quota. Our billing rates are significantly lower than those charged by attorneys with comparable or lesser experience and qualifications. We also take pride in providing time-efficient service to our clients and use best practices to communicate promptly and responsively with our clients. We recognize that rapid turnaround of work product is a priority for our clients, which makes it a priority for us. Attorney Biography
Chan Stroman has practiced commercial real estate law for over thirty years, as an attorney in private law firm practice, as the head of the legal department of a national real estate company, and as principal of her law practice, Landlord Counsel LLC. Chan Stroman has represented clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and lease transactions, covering the full range of commercial real estate property types, including office, retail, mixed-use and industrial. Her first-hand familiarity with commercial real estate leasing, construction and property management processes and systems enables the creation of legal documents that can be integrated, practically and functionally, into the operational areas in which they will be used. She has handled commercial real estate transactions for Class A commercial properties located nationwide, including metropolitan areas of the West and East coasts and the Midwest, Southeast and Southwest regions of the United States. Her experience in commercial real estate transactions has spanned the gamut of the real estate cycle, including "up" markets and "down" markets. She has represented landlords across the table from national and international tenants, and represented tenants across the table from national and institutional landlords. Chan Stroman's client service ethic is based first and foremost on the rule that her clients merit the same level of excellence in service from their attorney that she would want and expect to receive as a client.
